Job Nexus India is hiring Web Developer Interns on behalf of one of its client organisations. This internship is suitable for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in full-stack web development, including modern frontend frameworks, backend technologies, and website builders.

Role Overview

The Web Developer Intern will support the development and maintenance of responsive websites and web applications. The role provides exposure to frontend, backend, and CMS-based development in a practical, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work on frontend features using React or Next.js
• Support backend development using Node.js and Express.js
• Debug, test, and optimise websites for performance and usability
• Design and develop websites using WordPress or Wix
• Customise themes, layouts, plugins, and templates as required
• Create and update website pages, sections, and content
• Troubleshoot basic website issues and ensure smooth functionality
• Handle routine updates, backups, and site maintenance tasks
• Stay informed about current web development trends and best practices

Eligibility & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Understanding of backend frameworks like Node.js or Express.js
• Working knowledge of WordPress or Wix, including themes and plugins
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members
